PVCu
PVCu doors
A PVCu door is a stylish addition to any home, offering total weather protection and a longevity conventional materials cannot match. An almost infinite number of styles are possible, combining door panels with clear, stained, bevelled, fused or leaded glass.
Choose brilliant white, rosewood or golden oak, with a wide range of hardware from letter plates and handles to knockers, viewers and numbering. We can also source coloured PVCu doors.
Our doors have twin weather seals, flag security hinges, at least a five point deadbolt locking mechanism and toughened safety glass as standard. They are fully reinforced with galvanised steel and have high security cylinders and keys. Doors can be upgraded to the police approved Secured by Design initiative.
Composite
Composite doors
Composite doors have a PVC frame, with the high security locking and safety of normal PVC doors, but look and operate more like a traditional timber door, closing flush. The door sash is 48 to 50 mm thick and available in a wide range of colours.
The Solidor and Rockdoor systems we use combine the lustrous look of timber with low maintenance and long life. They are approved by the police initiative Secured by Design. We can even offer a traditional stable door in composite form, with one on display in our showroom.
The coloured skin is tough GRP, through coloured to keep its appearance, mounted on a composite sub frame supported by laminated timber stiffeners and pressure filled with energy efficient foam, or solid hardwood sections in the Solidor. They are very popular on new builds and for replacing older timber doors without the cost of a bespoke hardwood door. We have a number in our showroom and nearly always some in our factory ready for installation.
Opening up your home
Patio, French and bi-fold doors
For a greater sense of space and light, choose patio, French or bi-fold doors designed by VEKA plc, with the style, durability, weather resistance and security of our windows and conventional doors. Options are on view in our newly modernised showroom.
Patio doors range from a simple two pane type to large span four section doors with double opening sliders. French doors run from 1200 mm to 1800 mm wide and can open inwards or outwards. We also install PVCu bi-folding doors in nearly any colour and size, and can source aluminium bi-folding doors on a slightly longer lead time.
