PVCu windows
Windows made to suit any home
A complete range of bespoke windows that blend in perfectly with any home, whatever its size, style or vintage.
Performance
Warm, quiet and maintenance free
New windows by Gardinia significantly reduce draughts. Heat loss is kept to a minimum with Low E glass and argon gas filled units as standard, and every window has a warm edge spacer bar. We frequently use triple glazing for bevelled or leaded glass doors and feature windows.
Our windows will never rot, swell, warp, fade or discolour, need very little maintenance and never need painting. All of them use the latest 28 mm double glazed sealed units.
Style, colour and glass
Choose brilliant white or a wide range of lustrous woodgrain effects such as rosewood and golden oak. Anthracite, slate grey and chartwell green are also available on a slightly longer lead time.
We offer a complete range of Georgian bar effects (both in-between the glass and astragal solid type) and leaded glass options. You can also tailor your windows with coloured filters and authentic stained glass. Stained and bevelled glass is a popular option in windows and doors where that personal touch would finish off your home.
Sash windows
Vertical sliding sash windows
A PVCu window to replace your original sash windows, designed to replicate the original with very similar front to back measurements. Authentic horned sash details can be added along with solid astragal Georgian bars.
The sashes slide up and down as traditional, and pivot inwards for cleaning. The mechanism is a stainless steel spring balance rather than corded weights. Travel restrictors can limit opening to about 4 inches for security and child safety.
Available in white and woodgrain, and suitable for conservation and National Park areas with, usually, the minimum of fuss or concern.
Energy rated windows
New windows and doors now come with an energy rating, much like a new washing machine or fridge freezer. We believe energy efficient windows are one of the best ways to conserve energy in your home.
All our units are 28 mm thick overall with argon gas in the cavity, a Swiss warm edge spacer bar and soft coated low e glass as a minimum standard. With our 70 mm PVCu frames this lets us offer an A rated WER window as standard, with an overall U value of 1.2.
